At 19, Avinash approached his father and told him that he wanted to drop out of college and be a photographer. The following day, his father gifted him his first camera. And that was the start of a lifelong commitment to the craft.
Avinash greatly admires Gautam Rajadhyaksha and Richard Avedon and his body of work includes an array of personalities from Amitabh Bachchan to Arjun Kapoor, from Hema Malini to Sonakshi Sinha and from Ustad Zakir Hussain to Sachin Tendulkar. He has shot for clients from PETA to D’Décor and editorials for Filmfare and L’Officiel, to name a few.
Avinash teaches portraiture & people photography at BVSP. He often lets BVSP students assist him on his shoots thus giving them a chance to experience different genres like high profile celebrity shoots, ad campaigns, film publicity material etc. Avinash is known for being very open about his techniques n& processes.
An alumnus of Brooks Institute of photography, Jaideep is one of the leading spaces & hotel photographers globally. He is also the first Indian photographer to specialize in high-speed liquid photography.
Jaideep brings to the table, professional experience of almost 25 years of shooting spaces, hotels amongst other things and is known for his obsession with perfection as also for his very strong work ethic.
Jaiddep teaches commercial photography and spaces at BVSP. His assignments are known to be very thought provoking and are popular amongst students.
Atul work has been published in major international and national magazines and newspapers. He is the recipient of Japan’s Young Portfolio Award (2002) a photography fellowship for three months in Europe and has taken part in seminars over three years in India with World Press Photo. He covers major national and social issues and he is currently working on a personal book project in Mumbai.
Atul teaches photojournalism and multimedia at BVSP. Being one of the few Indian photojournalists to transition to video, he successfully blends still and moving images from the photojournalistic point of view.
Tarun Khiwal is among India's leading fashion photographers and a true maverick. Recognized and featured internationally, his experimental style and finesse transformed fashion photography in India, and gave it a global edge while also ushering in a new era of exploration.
He is the first and only Indian to be honored with the Hasselblad Masters Award, as well as the only Indian whose work was chosen for the leading Swiss professional photography light manufacturer Broncolor’s Annual Calendar in 2012. In an unprecedented shift from their standard imagery, Broncolor deviated in their approach to feature abstract, illusory photographs by Tarun Khiwal. He has also been featured in Tom Ang’s book ‘The Complete Photographer’ as one of the world's Top 20 Professional Photographers.

Shilpa graduated in Applied Art from the JJ Institute of Applied Art and went on to complete her MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University (California, USA). She is been a freelance photographer, working in the field of travel, portraiture, and fashion.
Shilpa teaches History of Photography, Travel Photography, and Photography as Art at BVSP.
Vaibhav began his culinary journey 10 years ago with ITC Hotels, honing his skills in their famed kitchens under the exacting tutelage of its gastronomic masters. From a bustling coffee shop to luxury in-room dining, from a produce driven grill room with remarkable guest interactions to high image corporate and social banqueting, Vaibhav has been at the centre, and often at the helm of things.
His interest in Food Styling stirred when he appreciated how a distinctive blend of dexterity and proficiency add a completely innovative perspective to a plate of fine cuisine. Thus, Vaibhav embarked on a new quest to invoke emotions, both corporeal and ethereal. His culinary background coupled with an indulgent eye for elements is the impetus of his food styling career.

Kirti is one of the most well known post production experts in the industry. He has worked on a number of ad campaigns & fashion shoots.
He teaches advanced post-production at BVSP. He is known for his innovative methods of teaching and creative assignments.
In over 2 decades as a photojournalist, Fawzan’s work has been published in leading publications like TIME, The New York Times, GEO, The London Telegraph, AP, and Asia Week, to name but a few. This avid organic farmer has participated in many shows and his permanent collections can be viewed at esteemed venues like The Museum Of Fine Art – Houston, the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art, and the NCPA in Mumbai.
